Von Silber zu Silber

Concrete meets grass, city meets stillness, and traces of past and present coexist.

Von Silber zu Silber is a site-specific dance performance at Gleisdreieck, conceived and choreographed by Emma Lusena Ash and her collective DISTANT CASUALS, with music by Benjamin Bacon. It takes place under the wide open sky, in natural daylight slowly fading in to dusk.

Exploring the theme of transformation as an essential part of life, the performers embody shifting states of becoming - from stillness to eruption, from solitude to togetherness - through continuous movement, intuitive actions, and a soundscape that blends voice, music, and the noises of the city.

At once a dance and a philosophical gesture, Von Silber zu Silber calls for a collective reimagining of how we live and transform, together.
