Miquel Amengual Gual

Miquel’s (Spain) interests lay between dance, performance, photography, and bodies. He’s been in contact with movement since a very young age. He started dancing Contact Improvisation, to then teaching the form. His interest in movement and dance led him to Instant Composition practice and performance and to contemporary dance. He joined the program in TIP - Schule für Tanz, Improvisation und Performance, in Freiburg. Then continued his formation in Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance. He’s joined projects with Cie La Roque, Romeo Castellucci, Sharon Zuckermann, and others.

Since 2022 he has been part of DISTANT CASUALS, with which has performed the piece “Sink Your Teeth Into The Void”, and currently researching concepts of morphing.
